Lovely old monastery buildings with maintained grounds converted into cafe and restaurants, and shop. Lovely site to wander around, great views, tasty fresh well prepared food... I definitely recommend a visit for a treat! We had the breakfast on Boxing Day and it was a great way to continue the celebrations.

Cakes at the Mirador are absolutely tops like at all the other places that belong to the same company. I have only eaten lunch once or twice there and would say it is OK. Service is good, unless there are unexpected crowds which may slow it down. The views are superb. Very child, dog and wheelchair friendly. Better park at Meson Monasterio by the entrance.

Cozy terrace cafe with some of the best views over the valley serving nice brunches, cakes and coffee. Lots of lovely trees, peacocks and chickens as well as a little path leading up to the chapel on the hilltop. Open only Friday to Sunday it seems. Ample parking. I’ve been there once for cake and once for brunch and will certainly be back.
